The Nenagh Olympic Indoor stadium was packed for the penultimate weekend of indoor competition, the Woodie’s DIY Juvenile Indoor championships. The sunshine outside resulted in the stadium being awash with light, while the standard of competition was once again top class as athletes prepare for the coming outdoor track and field season. Eilish Fitzpatrick of Gneeveguilla won her U19 60m convincingly, her winning time of 7.61 was not too far off the 1998 hand timed record of 7.5 set by Ciara Sheehy.
